Last weekend, Chrissy, Pretzel, and I met up with my parents in Frankenmuth, Michigan to partake in their annual Oktoberfest. Frankenmuth's Oktoberfest has the honor of being the first and only place outside of Munich to be sanctioned by the mayor of Munich, Christian Ude. As such, it was the first place in the United States that Hofbräuhaus allowed its beer to be imported. There is polka music, pretzels, a wiener dog race, and of course, beer. I didn't take too many pictures as I was busy getting fleemered. Unfortunately, Frankenmuth's Oktoberfest only lasts 4 days, unlike the traditional 16 in Germany. Enjoy.
