The Hardest Thing

After Christmas, I moved out to Seattle (Bellevue, really) to start a new job. I took the Empire Builder out, which was nice. After Christmas, and shooting a wedding, it was nice to just sit on a train for two days. Unfortunately, this all meant leaving my other half temporarily in Ann Arbor, while we transition. This aspect has definitely made this the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life. But, I've got a great job, and I get to look forward to seeing my beautiful fiancé Christine again. Enjoy.

Seattle. You can just make out a ferry.

If you have really good eyes, you can also see the large Ferris wheel by the waterfront.

The sun rising over a foggy Bellevue.

I shot these just after I got to work.

And I couldn't decide which ones I liked best.

Some Christmas lights at work.

Another shot.

I took this pic with my iPod as I went through the Cascade Mountains on my way to Bellevue.

This I also took with my iPod. The sunrise on the train is great, and it really lit up this small Montana town.

Another small Montana town covered in snow.

Congrats on the job! Hope you will be together soon! Love that Ipod tree shot and the Seattle area, from the blogs I follow, is a feast for the eyes. Looking forward to seeing some wonderful shots!

I took the Empire Builder three years ago and I'm thinking of taking it again this year. Fun times.

Good luck with your new job.
